She wasn’t doing a thing that I could see, except standing there, leaning on the balcony railing, holding the universe together. — J. D. Salinger - Catcher In The Rye
"I am tired of Earth. These people. I am tired of being caught in the tangle of their lives." - Dr. Manhattan
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed. — The Dark Tower by Stephen King
I know that I have not written in a while and I was pondering something, just the other day.
You know when you are falling asleep, and you suddenly get the strange feeling that you have tripped?
You get that body-lurch for an instant, reaching out instinctively to protect yourself from injury. You can almost see maybe even smell the ground rising to meet you.
This commonly occurs when boundaries between you and the “you" in an alternate universe is weakest.
This is the feeling that happens when the other “you" dies, but this also strengthens the bond with all the other versions of you.
Sleep tight. ;)
Happy 83rd Hatching Day (Birthday) to Leonard Nimoy. Spock is a bad-ass and more-so in this classic Trek photo. Live long and Prosper.
“Fate is capricious and quite indifferent to our fears." - Tom Baker (Doctor Who)
“Are you lost, sweetheart? Are you ‘fraid, honey? Well then, why don’t you come with me?" - Reverend Kane
Happy Hatching Day to one of my all-time favorite Director/Writer/Actors… David Cronenberg turns 71 today. Long live the new flesh!!!
